These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and El Jefe Hemp Company, LLC ("El Jefe," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you visit www.eljefehempco.com (the "Site"), create an account, or buy from us online or at our store at 3301 S. 14th St., Ste. 21, Abilene, TX 79605. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. You Must Be 21 or Older
You must be at least 21 years old to use the Site, create an account, or buy from us. By using the Site, you confirm that you are 21 or older.

Texas law requires us to verify age before every sale. A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older is required for every in-store purchase and every pickup order. For pickup orders, the name on the ID must match the name on the order. For shipped orders, we verify the buyer's age before the order ships.

We will refuse or cancel an order if we can't verify the buyer's age, if an ID appears invalid, or if we believe a product is being bought for or delivered to someone under 21.

2. About Our Products
We are a Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) registered hemp retailer, registration #3788. We sell only products that we believe comply with the laws that apply to them at the time of sale.

Hemp laws are changing at both the state and federal level. Because of this:
- Products may change, become unavailable, or be removed from the Site without notice.
- We may cancel all or part of any order that we can't lawfully sell or ship, and we'll refund you for anything we cancel.
- You are responsible for knowing and following the laws where you live and where you use our products.

Product details such as potency, ingredients, and serving sizes come from manufacturers and independent lab reports. We work to keep this information accurate, but we can't guarantee every description is free of errors. Each lab report applies to the batch listed on it. If you'd like the report that matches the package you received, contact us.

3. Health and Safety
Information on the Site and from our staff is general information, not medical advice. We can't diagnose conditions or recommend products to treat them.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

- Talk to your doctor before using hemp products if you are pregnant or nursing, take any medication, or have a medical condition.
- Some products contain THC, which can cause intoxication. Don't drive, operate machinery, or do anything that requires alertness after using products that contain THC.
- Hemp products may cause a positive drug test.
- Keep all products away from children and pets. Use pet products only as labeled.

4. Orders, Prices, and Payment
- Online, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Sales tax is added where required by law.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we ship it or mark it ready for pickup.
- We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order, even after payment, including orders that appear to be for resale, orders we suspect are fraudulent, and orders with pricing or listing errors. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you.
- We may limit quantities per person, household, payment method, or address.

5. Pickup, Shipping, and Returns

6. Coupons and Promotions
Unless an offer says otherwise, coupon codes are limited to one per order, have no cash value, and can't be combined with other offers. We may change or end any promotion at any time.

7. Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login private and your information current. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

8. Reviews and Comments
Reviews and comments you post must be honest and based on your own experience. They may not include health claims (for example, that a product cured or treated a condition), other people's personal information, or anything unlawful, threatening, or obscene. We may remove content that breaks these rules, but we don't remove reviews just because they're negative. By posting, you allow us to display your content on the Site and in our marketing.

9. Things You May Not Do
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site if you're under 21, or buy products for anyone under 21.
- Give false information, including false age or ID information.
- Resell products bought from us without our written permission.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or copy the Site.
- Interfere with the Site's security or operation, or upload viruses or other harmful code.
- Use the Site to harass anyone or for any unlawful purpose.
- Copy our content for commercial use without our permission.

10. Our Content
The Site's text, photos, logo, and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Product brand names and logos belong to their owners. You may view and share Site pages for personal, non-commercial use.

11. Other Companies' Products and Websites
We sell products made by other companies. Manufacturer warranties, such as Puffco's device warranty, come from the manufacturer, not from us, though we're happy to help you start a claim. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we're not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms or required by law, the Site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This doesn't affect any manufacturer warranty or any rights you have that can't be waived under the law.

13. Limits on Our Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, El Jefe and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

14. Your Responsibility to Us
You agree to cover losses and costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, that we incur because you broke these Terms or the law, including by giving false age information or reselling our products.

15. Governing Law and Disputes
Texas law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Taylor County, Texas, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Updated Terms apply to Site use and orders placed after they're posted. If we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on the Site.
